The first insect brooches I’d like to share with you are beetles. For some reason, I always think of the huge beetles on “Mummy” when I see these. I find them interesting, yet a tiny creepy. Having them bright and colorful helps.

When do you think humans started wearing jewelry? Five hundred years ago? Five thousand? Five million?
