We can all think of a few stores when someone mentions “cheap clothing” that we would like to avoid.  It’s not really cheap clothing—in a sense that you spend less—if you have to replace it after only a few months wear.  Rather than associating cheap clothing with poorly designed and poor calibre clothing that is manufactured in bulk find some cheap clothing—meaning clothing that doesn’t cost you a fortune—that is far from “cheap.”

Secondhand Stores

There are several secondhand stores that are considered “upscale” when it comes to the clothing items, brands, logos, etc. that they will accept.  These secondhand stores want you to feel you’re really getting value for your money so they aren’t going to accept clothing that’s falling apart even before it leaves the hanger.  These stores will have cheap clothing only in the sense that it doesn’t cost you a fortune but you still get to look fashionable and chic.  No one will know the difference that you purchased cheap clothing because secondhand stores carry some of the top line brands and designers.

Vintage Shops

Clothing of all shapes, sizes and styles are found in vintage shops for over half-off the original attach price at department stores.  What’s great about vintage stores is that there are going to be clothing items from just about apiece decade.  This could be a great place to go costume shopping if you need cheap clothing for a play or Halloween, even.  You’ll also be lucky to find some cheap accessories as well.  You’ll have a complete look that cost you less than buying just one shirt at a department store.

Thrift Stores

Thrift stores have a collection of items from clothing to furniture to books and back to clothing.  What’s great about thrift stores is that you can find some fantastic cheap clothing here.  Be careful, though, because it’s simple to get caught up in the rush of many income that are constantly happening at thrift stores.  There are tables and tables stacked with items that are only ten cents each.  If you still want to look trendy you’re going to have to spend a tiny extra time at thrift stores searching for the right ensemble.  Don’t despair, though, because there are plenty of chic cheap clothing items at thrift stores.  Plus you just might find a dresser to place all your new clothing in.  What a fantastic deal.

Cheap clothing doesn’t mean you have to look disheveled or like you don’t care about what others think about you.  There are plenty of options out there to help you spend a tiny less on a wardrobe but still look like a million bucks.  Don’t waste money on style and fashion when you can still look stylish and fashionable when buying cheap clothing.  Get out there and look for some great deals at any one of these clothing stores and have fun looking for cheap clothing that will last.
